Healing and Growth for Individuals and Couples
Our Approach: One Nervous System at a Time
***
At Nurture Hudson Valley, we believe that the path to healing lies in a holistic approach, which involves treating a person's body, mind, and spirit.
We can do so much as individuals AND we can do so much together. With the ability to hold space for many feelings to be true at once, our therapists explore, and untangle, the many threads that bring us to where we are today.
Our personalized and non-judgmental approach is designed to help clients feel safe, comfortable, and validated. We specialize in treating a wide range of concerns, including Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Relationship Issues, and Life Transitions from birth to end of life.
Our clients leave sessions feeling empowered, with a renewed sense of hope and purpose in their lives and increased confidence to respond, rather than react, to their emotions and thoughts.

Who We Help

Anxiety & Depression
Anxiety and depression can deeply affect an individual’s thoughts, emotions, and daily life. They may cause constant worry, low energy, hopelessness, irritability, and difficulty concentrating or sleeping. Relationships, work, and self-esteem often suffer, making even simple tasks feel overwhelming. These conditions can be isolating but are treatable with support.
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
We understand that symptoms such as disturbing thoughts, feelings, and dreams, as well as mental or physical distress in response to trauma-related cues, can be overwhelming and isolating. Our team of experienced psychotherapists is here to help patients overcome the barriers that are preventing them from healing. We provide tailored treatment plans, drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities, to ensure that every patient receives the individualized care and support they need.
Disordered Eating and Substance Misuse
Restricted eating and substance misuse can harm physical health, emotional stability, and self-worth. These behaviors often mask deeper issues like trauma or anxiety. A therapist helps uncover root causes, build healthier coping strategies, and foster self-compassion. Therapy supports recovery by promoting lasting change, balance, and a stronger sense of self

Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorder
Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders can cause intense sadness, worry, irritability, or disconnection during pregnancy or after birth. These feelings may impact bonding, daily functioning, and self-esteem. A therapist offers compassionate support, evidence-based treatment, and coping tools to help individuals navigate this period and feel more balanced and empowered.
Birth Processing
A therapist helps individuals process difficult or traumatic births by providing a safe space to explore emotions, reduce distress, and make sense of the experience. Therapy can ease symptoms like anxiety, guilt, or flashbacks. Clients may seek help when these feelings persist, affect daily life, or interfere with bonding.
